Please be aware that St Andrew’s Pre-school is open for 22 hours per week, however you can use your total funding allowance across a number of childcare settings, including childminders.

Pre-school fees

Invoices are e-mailed to our families 3 times a year, usually within the first 3 weeks of each term, with payment being required within 10 days of the invoice being issued. Please note that we do accept Childcare Vouchers and tax-free childcare.

Children aged 3 years plus

For every day that your child attends our Pre-school, families are required to pay for the first 30 minutes of each day. This is not covered by Government Funding.

For example, if your child attends Pre-school 4 days per week (totalling 15 hours), you will be able to claim 13 hours Government funding per week and the remaining 2 hours will be charged to you by Pre-school.

Children under the age of 3

For families with children joining Pre-school under the age of 3 years, who do not meet the 2 year old funding criteria (as detailed earlier), Government funding is not available and you will be charged for all sessions attended.

Voluntary Contribution
Every term we request a voluntary contribution from every family; a suggested amount of £40.00. We use these contributions alongside our fundraising to support the operation of our Pre-school, which is unfortunately not met via funding and fees alone. It is entirely voluntary and there is no obligation to make a contribution, however any amount is gratefully received.
