Happy New Year, and welcome back to Pre-school, and a special welcome to our new families! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas break and are looking forward to 2020.

I’d like to introduce myself for those I’ve not yet met. I’m Sarah Challis, and now that Dougie is starting Pre-School I’m taking over from Kayleigh as Chair, while she reverts to being Co-Chair. My eldest, Matthew, came to Pre-school two years ago and Dougie is very excited to be following in his big brothers footsteps. A huge thank you to Kayleigh for doing such an amazing job as Chair for the last term.

I’d also like to thank all our wonderful members of staff for their hard work over last term. The Christmas play was fantastic and I’m sure everyone loved seeing the children doing such a great job. So much work goes on behind the scenes to put this on, so a big thank you for doing this- it’s always such a special day creating some lovely memories for all our families.

Thanks also to everyone for donating food for the Christmas party which the children loved.

Another big thank you to Sarah Magor for organising a great Christmas raffle with such amazing prizes. We raised a brilliant amount for Pre-school, so thank you everyone for buying tickets (and for the lucky ones- enjoy your prizes!). Thanks also to all the committee members for so generously giving up their time to support Pre-School.

Thank you toto everyone for doing their parent help sessions last term, and for booking slots for this term. I hope you all enjoyed getting to see Pre-school in action.

Last but not least- I’d also like to extend a very warm welcome to our two new members of staff. Sarah and Emma. We’re all very excited that they are joining us.
