A very big welcome to you all! We’re delighted that you’re all going to be at St Andrew’s Pre-school for this coming year. Once again we have a mix of children returning for a second year, siblings of previous pupils and brand new families and I hope
that your children are as excited as I am to be part of this new year!
Having said that, we all appreciate that the beginning of a new Pre-school year can be accompanied by lots of different emotions and I’d like to reassure you that our excellent staff team are very experienced in settling everyone in to the Pre-school. It can be a big change for all our children and parents, whether they are continuing or new, so if you have any questions please do approach any member of staff or Committee.
I’d like to thank the outgoing Committee for supporting the staff to deliver another great Pre-school year. We start this year with a great new Committee who are all listed in this Newsletter, and we will introduce ourselves to you over the first week or so at Pre-school. A couple of the committee members are staying on for their second year but others are just starting so please bear with us as we learn the ropes! As you know, the Pre-school is a charity, which relies heavily on volunteers. We are always delighted to hear from anyone interested in getting involved in any way, and a big thank you to everyone who has already volunteered to do something in the coming year. Do let me know if you’d like to get involved in any of our activities.
There will be various events coming up this term that are fantastic ways to get to know each other better as well as supporting the preschool with fundraising so please do come along! The 50th Anniversary of Pre-school is a really
special event that we will be celebrating this year, so please put Sunday 30th September in your diaries as it will be a fantastic afternoon of fun! Please do feel free to chat to anyone on Committee anytime at Pre-school – in person at drop off or pick up, or via e-mail. We’re always keen to hear any feedback or suggestions you might have or happy to try and answer questions. Anonymous feedback can be left in the suggestions box in the front hall.
We’re really looking forward to meeting you all at the start of term and getting
to know you through the coming term. We hope it will be a great year for you
all!
